Default Doing a mach1 tribute, need some help.

Justcouple quick questions, I am planning on doing a MACH1 tribute with my '05 GT, nothing radical, just cosmetic
stuff. Does anybody know if I can get this grille without the halo lights? I want to keep the fogs just not the ricey halos.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/05-06...QQcmdZViewItem

And where would be a good place to buybadging and stripes, I like the stripes from the '04 Mach1 but I am unsure
if the dimensions are close enough to make them work on an '05, Any alternatives? One other thing, What kind of
ducktail spoiler is on the Foose Stallion? Looks like it would cover the factory spoiler holes and looks good too...Thanks

Please, please, please stay true to period correct Mach 1 stripes. It's clear the 2005-2007 Mustang was designed with the 1965-1969 Mustang in mind. Too many use 1970-72 Mach 1 or Boss 302 stripe designs on the S197 for some reason. If you're doing a tribute car......at least do it right.

Got any suggestions or pics of "period correct" stripes I can use?

Well, 1969 was the first year of the Mach 1.......so here are a couple of pics of the '69 Mach 1 stripe scheme:

You could email that seller on ebay and ask how much he would refund if your bought the grill and he kept the lights. If that doesn't work....you could always buy the item and sell the halo's later.

Go to www.cervinis.com and look at the shaker hood setup they sell, if you get that and paint it with a flat black center stripe it will look very close to the old Mach1's. Also you might want to stay away from ducktails, if you just have the stock wing painted flat black it will look very nice on your white car. Get some Mach1 wheels too to get the full effect.

Cervini's definately will have a lot of parts that will help with the tribute car.

Already have the Mach1 wheels, they go on Saturday. And I know a lot of guys like the stuff from
Cervinis, but I personally don't like anything they have but one of thier chin spoilers, Not the B2 either,
but I will look at thier hood.
