Default Another SHAKER 1000 Problem

My car is only a week old. The stereo was working fine for the first few days. I didnt have it cranked or anything. All the sudden, the subs in the trunk do not work at all. And whenever I use my keyless remote, any function, I get a loud thump out of the trunk subs. And a minute after the car has been locked or unlocked, it does it again. The Shaker is turned on on the head unit, and nothing ( such as water or hitting ) has happened to the sub box. Ive made an appointment to get it looked at, but Im just wondering if anyone might know what it is or has had this problem.

Much Thanks

Take it back.... I have had my 06 with a shaker 1000 for nearly a year.... this is the best car I have ever had... but it needs is quarterly trip to the ford doctor to fix all the stuff that keeps going wrong...
The Shaker 1000 is amazing... U should get it fixed. PS Do not crank it up when you have the trunk loaded up with Xmas presents it is an expensive mistake….

Sounds like there is a ground problem with either your head unit, or with the Anti-theft system...

Take it to the dealership, and if they can't help you, or don't want to, then speak to the service managers, and ask them if you can take the car to an aftermarket stereo shop to get it fixed, and the stereo shop can forward the bill to the dealership...

also did you put anything heavy in the truck at all, the ground is in front of the sub speaker and you may have loosened it. But that is a ground problem for sure
