Thunking noise... in the back?
Honestly im not really sure how to describe it. Many people say they have a tunking noise in the front when going slow, but i only get that in the back of my car. Like when backing out of my driveway their is a 3 inch drop and it will Thunk and maybe even a little rattle. I am not sure if their is something loose, maybe my Lca's or panhard bar, i can get out of my car and start pushing on the back portion side of my car and the back kind of Squeaks like a bed does, whats up with that?

i have the same problem- i always hear a rattling noise when going slow- it comes from the back right hand corner of the car and also my drivers side door, personally i think it has something to do with the plastic interior of the car and the temperature outside/inside of the car.

There are many things in the back that can make noise that aren't part of the suspension. Try opening your trunk and shaking the plastic trunk latch cover. Plastic bumpers behind the rear bumper cover are lose and can shake. Even the side marker lights on the rear bumper cover and the cover itself can make noise.

I'm not sure if you messed with your exhaust or not but it sounds like an exhaust rattle. When you say you hit the bump the suspension goes up and is probably hitting the pipe or muffler. Feel around the pipes and check for clearance.

I was getting a bad rattle in the back. Mostly happens when I go over a seam in the road or over train tracks at over 35mph. Something that effects both rear wheels at the same time. It sounded like maybe a shock tower was loose or the spare wasn't tightened down. I made sure the spare was ok and the dealer said it wasn't the shock tower. They fixed it but the service invoice didn't indicate what they did! Unfortunately the rattle is back after just a few weeks. So next oild change back it goes!
I wonder if putting one, two or three of those shock tower braces they have for the rear end would eliminate it.
