I just got back from the track. My best run of the night was 13.007 @ 106.37mph. I was expecting 13.2s but was pleasantly suprised. This came on my first run using the B amachips 93 octane race tune.

I followed that up with these:
13.021 @ 106.29 (B ama 93 race)
13.048 @ 106.00 (B ama 93 race)
13.096 @ 104.94 (Brenspeed 93 octane)

I had a few others where I experimented with different launches and weren't as good (13.22 and 13.33) because they involved a lot of wheel spin off the line. I'll have some videos ready soon.

Last weekend (before the C&L CAI, tune, and LCAs) I ran a best of 13.50 @ 101.

 

nice times! what was your 60'? is this on factory tires? my buddy had the same trap and ran a 12.7 with a 1.7 60'! with nitto drag radials.

I have Nitto 555s all around (non-drag radial) with 285s in the back. They weren't hooking.

60' on the 13.007 was 1.989.
Others were in the 1.99 - 2.00 range.

I need some DRs.

 

I'm not sure about the race tune from Brent. I ordered the XCal with the 3 standard ones and ditched the 91 octane tune. For some reason, the 93 race tune from B amachips feels better in normal driving than the Brenspeed tune. For some reason, the Brenspeed tune seems to buck a lot in 1st gear when trying to go slow. I'm going to email him about that to see if that's normal. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoy both tunes! Now i just need some Mickey Thompson ET Streets to fall out of the sky already mounted on some wheels that'll fit my car and i'll be happy with my 12s.
