Thanks to you MF'ers!!!
Okay, I was a little skeptical on the whole CAI + tune idea, thinking it wouldn't make that much of a difference. I stand 100% corrected!!! Installed the TI + Brenspeed 87 tune this weekend, and I must say, Holy f*&^*ng crap!!![:-] It's an entirely new car! My only regret is not waiting a year or soas it would seem as if I had bought a new car!! It felt fast before, but now the power is just so steady, it feels incredibly smooth. Anyway, just wanted to share in case there are others out there doubting.

Haha, I'm still kinda new to the forums and being in my half-awake status this morning saw this thread referring to "MF'ers" and my first thought was mother...... so I had to see what this guy had to say. I really need to wake up before getting on the computer. Anyway, glad you're happy, seeing post like this make me want to delay my other mods and go with a tune earlier.

And once you get used to that, bump it up to a 93 tune. That way, it'll always seem like you're driving a new car.

I have had my CAI and tune on my car for almost 2 years. I started off on the 87 octane tune and smiled everytime I drove the car. Then I went with the 91 octane tune and smiled even more. These are new beast when you wake them up with a CAI and tune.

imyy4u---it's a 5 spd
Thanks for all the responses. I'm waiting for this tank of 87 to get really low and thenI'll do a couple of tanks of the 93 before changing the tune. Seems to be what everyone else had the best luck with. Of course, if itadds even more throttlability (yippee, a new word!), I'll probably start missing work to drive the car around
Seriously, if you're thinking of doing this, but putting it off for any other mod, the CAI is GOLD!!!
