go with the BLACK ones. Your pony isnt a prom date, it doesnt have to match, just get the best of each that you can. Yellow + Black = bad azz

Match the wheels. Definitely. And I'm an example of someone who had stripes and peeled them off later with no ill effects. I had them on for about a year. Mine is a daily driver but I do park in a garage most of the time. If you're really on the fence about color, then go with the vinyl and see if you like them. If you don't it's easy enough to reverse. If you fall in love and they start to age, then at least you know what color you like. For the price they're going for these days, it's not too high risk to give it a try.

 

+1 on the Grey Stripes. Your car looks hot now, but with the stripes it would be sick.

 

I'm also going to vote for the grey that matches your wheels. It's unique. I'd say black if not for those wheels, but they look outstanding and so would stripes that color. Either way, it'll look great.

 

You don't just have to get racing stripes right up the middle...

 

Go with the gray stripes! I also like the look of the stripes that vphokie has!

 

vphokie, love the stripes.[8D] I think the gray stripes would look the best on yellow personally. The flat black would also look nice, but if you do vinyl I think 3M says never to wax the flat colored stripes. Also, I've had vinyl on cars in the past that I peeled off and never had an issue (garage kept cars). Just make sure you get the good stuff (3M)...

There are several different style stripes available. I went for a single staggered silver stripe up the center of the hood and over the hood scoop. It does not go over the top of the car though. I have similar stripes on the forward rocker panels. The flourescent lights in the garage make this a terrible pic, but you get the idea...

 

i say match the wheels.

 

i usually like black on yellow, but with those wheels i think the grey would be perfect.
