FIRST day with my new rims and my tire pops! UGH!
So I put on my Saleen 20x9 and 20x10 today and everything is fine until I go to work. I hit a SMALL pothole and my rear tire pops. I think the rear tire had too much air pressure in it so that caused it to pop. Honestly, I dont know what to do.
My set up was 255/30zr20 in the front
and 295/30zr20 in the back.
Tire pressure on the other 3 was at 31 so I dont understand how a tiny *** pothole caused my tire to pop. More aggrivating than anything.[:@]

Honestly I don't know exactly what happened. It seemed to just....pop and fizz out. They are Toyo Proxes and from what I heard, they are a great company.

Im no tire pro but Id inquire and see if they will reset the bead to confirm whether or not it will hold air......might save you some loot.....
Good Luck

Doubt it was over inflation as most of those tires have a max inflation of 50 PSI I believe.
Tires with short sidewalls like those cannot absorb the same impact that a tire with a taller sidewall can.

While I'm not an expert, I would think you may have a defective tire. If your setup was brand new and the pothole was SMALL then your rim should not be bent. Did you check the rim? Did you try to put air in it to see if the tire split?
