the whole story is...
The installation of everything was completed last Friday. Monday I picked up some friends of mine for lunch. As we are leaving their office, getting ready to get on the highway, I see a red 02 or 03 Z06. I was hoping they would get on the highway going the same direction we were. They were two cars ahead of us. The on ramp went from a two lane to a one lane as it merged onto the interstate. The vette was nailing it up the on ramp and got a pretty good jump before I could get around the other cars. As I caught up to him traffic was a little thick, I pulled up along side him about 75 mph in third gear and romped it, just to let him know I wanted to play. After about a miletraffic hadthinned out, I was several car lengths in front of him and had backed down to about65 mph, I see him making a run at me. I dropped it in to third and nailed it, even with a run he never stood a chance. We ran from about 65mph to about 115.We both got off at the same exit, in my rear view mirror he was giving me the thumbs up sign.As I turned left, and he turned right, the driver and the passenger were both craning their necks checking out my car...I think they were looking for a cobra emblem...

I'l go out on a limb here, and say that I'm thinking that the percentage of mustang owners are more apt to have mods done to achieve *** kicking power...and that the average new 'vette owner is an older more refined individual who would be more apt to not add mods or even think of adding mods...

Just a thought though....

I'm taking it to be dynoed tomorrow. If I were to guess, I'd say I'll probably be in the 450 range...I think I'm running a little rich on the whipple tune, so there might be some more power to be found with a custom tune.My wideband A/F gauge registers 10.8-11.2 at WOT...it's a little hard to watch though, you build up speed sooooo fast.

GOD I CANT WAIT TILL I INSTALL MINE NEXT WEEK!!!
I had all of my parts in my office for a week before the install. I dropped the car off on a Tuesday morning and didn't get it back until friday afternoon. The wait was aweful. The first time you drive it will be worth the wait though!!
