Default IS THERE A WAY TO TURN OFF THE TPMS?

Hey guys, switched my wheels and tires and sold my old ones before getting the damn sensors out of them. Wasn't thinking and having a really bad experience getting my new ones....3 months and only have 3 on the car while waiting for the 4th wheel to get delivered. I've read some posts and wondered if anyone has figured out a way to shut off the tpms yet? Thanks!

You're stuck with it...ulness you replace the TPMS system on your new wheels (which I haven't done). Some people have also thrown the sensors in a PVC pipe that's sealed and pressurized in their trunk. I think it's easier to just hit RESET every time I start the motor.

Do the 17 inch wheels have these sensors also?

No way to disable TPMS as far as the forum knows. There's been a lot of discussion so a search should have given you these answers. There's a possible way to "fool" the system but you need all the sensors.

Just use the Homer Simpson method, like the one he used to get rid of his Check Engine light:
Put a piece of electrical tape over the light! LOL!
