If the CAI and/or tune was found to be the root cause of the failure, your warranty would not cover replacement/labor on that area of failure.

Thank you
So should a problem arise, I should just reinstall the stock intake setup and reflash the stock settings into the comp and I should be ok?

RE: Intake / Tune: Kill Warranty?
Would they have an issue if I just reflash the tune instead and leave the cai on? even if it put the check engine light on?
Would the car pass 50 state legal emissions with a cai and tune? basically, would you have to change back for an inspection?

RE: Intake / Tune: Kill Warranty?
cars pass inspection with a cold air intake on. a dealer doesnt have a problem with cold air intakes unless your taking it in for a problem and they can somehow link it to the cai being at fault, when they open that hood up and see it, they basically go oh, theres your problem. my advice if your taking it in for waranty work just put the old back on it takes all of 10 minutes and they cant stick you with bogus crap.

So if you have a tune, is it best to reflash stock settings, or does simply disconnecting / reconnecting the battery reset it to stock mode? <When going in for a problem
