I have a manual and I will also vote for the auto. The manual is too clunky. I know that if driven perfectly a manual may be a tenth faster 0-60 or in the quarter, but the auto will win more than lose because there is less more margin for error. Besides, how many of us are professional drivers?

Manual. It's just more fun for me. And why pay the extra $700, or whatever it is these days, if you don't need it?

Manual, for the fun factor. My last 2 cars were stick shift as well, I can't go back to driving an auto. It's too fun to row your own gears!
