How long did you wait to start modding?
I'm curious how long everyone else was able to hold out after buying their car to start modifying it. How many days / weeks / months did you make it, and what were the first part(s) that you ordered?
I bought my car on Saturday and just ordered Steeda Ultra-Lite lowering springs, a 14" shorty black antenna, and a magnetic trunk panel blackout today, as well as made an appointment to get her tinted next Monday.
I made it 3 days. LOL

Had the exhaust on it in less than 300 miles, trunk blackout and taillight bezels on at around 500miles, CAI and tune around 1400miles and the new wheels and tires at 5000. I am putting gears, tint, chin spoiler and a little custom paint on it in the next 3 weeks.
I put in my shifter, front lip,and had my taillights tinted before I drove it home the day I bought it. Tinted the windows and did the exhaust the following day.
I drove my car fromthe dealer to the engine builder to body shop to the dyno back to engine builder back to body shop back to engine builder back to dyno and now back to dyno have 3000 km on the car

I Put Rims and tires The day after I bought it, the day after that I had it Tinted, 2 days after that I had A Head Unit, replaced all the speakers, 2 amps and 2 subs (that took 2 days) then I had the weekend, then that monday I took it in for a Saleen Stage 2 S/C, Duel GT500 Fuel Pumps, SPEC 2+ Clutch, Full Exhaust (LT Headers/X -pipe/AT's) Lowering kit, Adj UC/LC/relocation brackets, Adj. Panhard, Frame Connectors,B&M Shifter.... I haven't gotten her back yet...It's been a week at the shop so far (still waiting for some parts)...So in the meantime I've been ordering shyt online... So far I've gotten in the black billet Fuel door, Pony Floor mats, MUSTANG GT sticker for the 3rd brake light, Sequential Brake Light kit, Pony head rest wrap, silver welting for the doors, still waiting on the Painted Louvers, Pony License Plate Bracket, Billet ***** and drink holder thing, GTO headlight black out, Hood Pins, GT Trunk lid mat thing...and probably some other stuff I've forgotten about....
next on the list is Guages..... and paint for the calipers..but I'm gunna drive it for a bit, I've only owned her for like 2 1/2 weeks... (I figure get it all done at once, instead of loosing the car for small periods of time....) yes, I have been bitten by the mod bug....and I owe it all to you bastages!!

Had mine a week - tinted the windows, next weekhad the CAI then waited about six months for the taillights, clear corners, plenum cover and mufflers. Next up..........A TUNE!
