I wanted real wide on the rear and fit in the wheel well. Big mistake, nice brand new tires, ill get my money back on Ebay. I got the new Eagle Rs-As 295/40/20 for $150 each, the others were $300 each.

Thanks for the info everyone! Any more pics with some aggressive lowering. I am wondering if tires will clear wheel wells. I don't want to be grinding my tires to hell. More info will be appreciated. Anyone with 30 series sidewalls..is the height to short?

I think you need to use this tire size calculator. You seem a bit lost on what size tires you need for your plus size rims. the 295/40/20's will be 2 inches larger in diameter than stock.

Not everyone cares 100% performance or if there speedo is off 4MPH. Most just want something that looks real nice.

I am also running 1.8" drop in front and 1.9" in the rear so as soon as the wheels come in I will post pics

I do realize that lefty, but if you look at his first post you'll see that he bought 295/25/20's and didn't know how low a profile that would be until they were on the car.

Decreasing the performance of a performance vehicle goes against the laws of muscle car, buy a honda.

Yeaaaa295/40/20 is much too big. The largest your gonna be able to get away with are 295/35/20s. The 295/40/20s are taller than my 295/30/22s and I'm at the maximum your gonna be able to fit, that is with sportlines.

I don't care for 20's, but some do look good on the new Stangs. I see a '94-98 model V6 with 20" spinnersevery so often when driving to work. I want to shoot that guy.
