Default RE: Black out panel

ORIGINAL: Dennis074.0

I don't know about the whole heating up thing, but I always take it off every three or four days, and wash the decklid and the panel.

I bought it at 50resto.com

It cost $40.

The only bad thing is that when it comes, its rolled up in a box, and when you put it on your car its all bumpy, and some sections aren't completely flat against the decklid, but after a couple days it flatens out and looks fantastic!
I'llstick it to my fridge until it flatens out....then it'll go on the car.

Thanks.

Thanks guys,
My mom worked at the dealership late '69/'70,
Fell in love with a Grabber Yellow Mach1, and every time I drew that car,
I always made sure I had the h/comb panel and rear window louvers !!
I think my fingernails are still stuck in the steering wheel !!!
Thanks Agian,
Enjoy the ride..........

Silverhorse racing honeycomb here too. Goes on in like 10 seconds and really breaks up the big rear painted area on the back of these cars. Definately retro. Paid $139. for mine.

I think I'm going to try and talk him into going with the silverhorse panel. Thanks alot for all the help. I havn't had much time to look at the newer stangs since I bought my fox and started researching for it.
