Default Black out panel

My father has an 06 convertable v6 and wants a blackout panel between the taillights. Can anyone suggest a good aftermarket one? He found a magnetic one but I think he should go with something a little more permanant. Any suggestions with links would be great. Not looking for something to expensive, just a minor cosmetic upgrade.

Silver Horse Racing has some nice stuff. I kinda like the Honeycomb panel, matches the grill.

I have the Xenon blackout from Moss Mustang (http://www.mossmustang.com/Shop/View...mp;SortOrder=3). It's actually a smoke color which is somewhat transparent, but I spray painted the back surface with Krylon Fusion plastic bonding paint (about $5 at wal-Mart) - about 5 coats. Now it's pitch black and looks great. Costs about $50 or so - check the website.

Ive got the same one as richmod... and painted it with plastic bonding spraypaint. Worked like a charm and really completes the rear-end.

I've heard the magnetic ones will heat up in the summer and leave crap all over the back panel.

I don't know about the whole heating up thing, but I always take it off every three or four days, and wash the decklid and the panel.

I bought it at 50resto.com

It cost $40.

The only bad thing is that when it comes, its rolled up in a box, and when you put it on your car its all bumpy, and some sections aren't completely flat against the decklid, but after a couple days it flatens out and looks fantastic!
