Jeivs and JimC...what color stripes did you put on? Gloss white or Antique white? What is closest to the stock side stripe?

Mine are the gloss white -- I think that the side stripe is closest to the antique white though. There is a small difference in shade when I hold a piece of the stripe next to the side stripe (since I didn't do the top for obvious reasons I have quite a bit left over). If you check with Rob at Baltimore Street Mods though I'm sure he can tell you which is the closest match.

That's a great idea....Roush web site has them for $248 painted. I'm not sure I would have the ***** to drill my own (I have only had the car less than 2 weeks), but I'm sure the guy doing the stripes would have no problem me bringing my own scoop and just asking him for installation. maybe he would do it for $50 or so...Then I do have more $$ left over for other mods .

Definitely wait until after the stripe job to do the scoop. It's a beatch to get off after you've seated the 3M tape. I speak from first-hand experience...

I promise only one more question about stripes:

For the ones of you that have the rear spoiler, do the stripes go under or over the spoiler?

Thanks.

ZZ Thanks I made em myself! Tbone yeah that's about right for vinyl and install. The scoop paint price is pretty good too.
That's cool! And very unique. Is it painted or vinyl? How did you do it?

The stripe is both under and over my spoiler. It follows the trunk lid, and then is lined up across the top of the spoiler as well. I think you can see it in some of the earlier pictures I posted. Actually it can be seen in my sig as well.

Playboy,

That helps a lot....especially since we both have vista blue, and I want the white stripes with a roush hood scoop. Did you install the scoop yourself? If so, any instructions for a newbie?

Thanks. TBone
