Playboy,
That helps a lot....especially since we both have vista blue, and I want the white stripes with a roush hood scoop. Did you install the scoop yourself? If so, any instructions for a newbie?
Thanks. TBone

RE: Hood scoop/Vinyl Strips
Glad I could help. I personally think when the hoodscoop gets striped it becomes harder to see, I didn't pay $250 for people NOT to notice it.
It was a shot in the dark putting it on without stripes, but I am very glad I did, it, in my opinions, looks great!
Yes I did install the hoodscoop myself, there are many threads dedicated (recently) to the installation of the hoodscoop. I was worried at first that drilling through the vinyl might cause it to twist or offset or something, but no it went great.
Also one tip when installing, they give you some pretty lame *** screws/bolts when ordering from Roush, go to Home Depot and my 8/32 nuts and screw them on the under the hood as a 'safety' precaution.
If ya guys have any further questins about the install lemme know!
Also know after time, unfortunetly, the stripes around the back of the scoop kind of overlap alittle bit, it sucks but from whatUB10 told me it happend to him too, I think.
If ya need any more pictures of it look in my profile and go to recent posts about "Stripe Hoodscoop, Y? N?" and you'll see more.
