Before I had my Mustang I owned a little Dodge SRT-4. I used one of the little Campbell-Hausfeld oil seperators to keep oil from building up in my intercooler. That was one mean little turbocharged motor and it had a tendency to "breathe" a good bit of oil into the intake system over time. I dumped it every time I filled the gas tank and it would be between 1/4 to 1/2 full at that point. That little Home Depot special worked like a champ and held up to three years of high temps and synthetic oil; and it was small enough to tuck out of the way and easily emptied.

That being said, I don't see the need on a NA Mustang.

Yea, I didn't plan on getting a oil separator from a hardware store, I was just baffled that so many people make them out of air compressor parts so I just wanted to see what they where all about. Then I saw the temparture rating of 125 degrees and synthetic oils are a no, no, I can't see how they would hold up to everyday driving especially in the summer heat, thats all I was getting at. I wouldn't put that on my 30,000 dollar car
