Default Best Tires for 18's ?

I have 285/35/18's that are essentially useless in terms of ability to hook on the street. I'm thinking about Nitto's. Any suggestions?

I'm putting down about 350 rwhp and I'm running a 4.10 gear.

I love my nittos. The sizes I have are in my sig, I went with a taller tire in the rear for added comfort and I like the old school hotrod look. They have great traction and still have a comfortable ride. Nitto also makes a pretty good drag radial if your thinking about going that route.

I love your wheels and tires. That is the look I was hoping for with the stock bullits but when I ordered mine I didn't know they were going to paint them silver for '07. Here is what I had on my 1969 Mustang. At that time they were only 14 inchers with lots of sidewall on the wide-ovals.

I like my BFG KDW 2's. They handle great . . . fantastic launching grip and handle cornering nicely.

Been thinking about the KDs over the KDW2s based on what I've read pro/con on the net. Seems like you give up some wet traction for even better dry traction andcornering performance.

Opinions?

Those are the exact size tires I've been considering. No problems with rubbing - in front or the rear?

thanks for the feedback.

No rubbing at all, My rear wheels are actually 10.5" wide and were a pretty close fit but everything worked really well. I might actually go up to a 305 in the future.

Goodyear Eagle F1 are the best all around summer tires. All around in the sense of rain or shine, handling and traction. They have the market cornered for supercars, including the Ford GT. I'm sure other tires are better for purely dry roads, but the F1 are best for rain and dry, everyday randomness.
