Great minds think alike, ordered clear corners about an hour ago. Looks as though it's going to be more like 2 weeks til the car is done and pictures will be posted. Tousleys shipping will be a bit longer than I thought.

Well 2 weeks turned into nearly 2 months. But it was worth the wait. I'll throw some pictures up tomorrow as I'm still at work. Car looks mean. Also, clear corners were for sure the right choice for me! Still need to throw on the dual exhaust I've had sitting in the corner for over a year and then start making a wish list for some interior goodies. Christmas is only 9 months away afterall. Haha.

I'm loving the looks of the GT500 conversion. I did see that Trufiber has a bumper that will allow you to retain the stock GT grill and headlights. But looking at the front shot, the grilles just don't look good together. Upper being more square looking. I would love to do this conversion however the car was bought used with what looked like an attempt to achieve the Eleanor look. It's a 09 with the hood and side exhaust. I'm not liking how the stock front is clashing with the mentioned mods. So I wonder what the GT500 conversion would look like with the side exhaust. I'm currently stuck drooling on the internet here in Afghanistan so can't really get out there. I'm considering actually just selling the hood, side skirts and removing all the badges and starting fresh. I really like the looks of the KR because the car is black. I really would have to do something like Geo's car. That thing is sick. One thing, can you recess the stock fog lights in the upper grille to behind the grille?

Wow, excellent! I'm in love with the SS stripe. Your black/white combo is perfect!

Thanks Sam !!! part of your car was a source of inspiration that led me to this conversion.

Looks beautiful.

I cant believe what this thread has turned out to be.

It was one of the best things we did to these cars and how the car should have looked like from the get go.
