Like you say, seams Ford did understand something for sure, because the 2013 whatever the model, the front ends all look alike, except for some minor details, not two completely different front end like ours.
Special thanks to you Mellow, you're the one that started this thread 6 years ago.

Well after a little researching of different bumper options and such, I think I'm going this route. I showed my youngest boy (4) a few different options and he nailed it, the GT500KR. All black with no stripes or badges! But have a question, has anyone dealt with Bumper Outlet? See they have some repaired bumpers at a lower cost. Just wondering if this is a good option or just spend the extra money to know I have brand new stuff?

Edit: Couple more questions as the Afghan wireless is slow. I'm sure it's in these 73 pages, but forgive me.

15200-A Foglight...see they run up there for a GT500 replacement. Am I correct to guess the Ford Edge are the same but cheaper? Google even started popping up some GM lights. BUDGET SAYS????

V6 Inner fenders? Seriously? They that different then the GT or GT500?

Looks like the back breaker is the hood! I think I can talk the wifey into spending a couple hundred each paycheck on parts. Least I can do for being so thrifty over here. Also, I'm about to get a promotion...so about that extra income....hmmm.

You're kid got good taste !!

- A repaired bumper well fix, no problem at all. If the savings are there.

- Fog lamp from a edge won't work, from a escape & explorer sport track yes, but you have to modify you're fog wiring, it's not the some socket.

- The inner fenders you can cut yours ( just near the front bottom ) but there cheap new.

- As for the hood, you can still use yours, it fits ( the opposite don't, Shelby hood & gt/v6 bumper) until that raise comes in !

Looks fantastic...very nicely done. Only thing I don't like is the side scoops...though I know I'm in the minority with that thought.

Everything you said is correct. If you want to save a few bucks, go fogless with Ford Escape base model caps.

Trufiber has great hoods as well.

I still turn heads on the road and SEMA to this day!
