Default FRPP Shorty Headers clearance problem

I can't find any thread about FRPP shorty hearders clearance problem. If this topic has been posted before, please direct me to it. I installed my FRPP shorty headers days ago and i'm having clearance problem on the left (driver) side. It is hitting the steering shaft when making a hard right turn. Can anybody out there had any clearance problem after installing their either shorty or long tube headers? Should a new aftermarket performance motor mount help? How about aftermarket swaybar? Would a tighter front help avoid flex that causes the headers and steering shaft rubbing against each other? Help, pleaaaaase?

What set-up do you have, Thurman? Is you car lowered? or does it make any difference? Still can't figure out a fix. Have you tried making a hard right turn? Thanks for the response. Anymore out there with a clearance problem or fix?

The only thing I noticed after having my JBA shorties installed is that the steering wheel is at a slight left turning position when my wheels are straight. No fitment problems though. Anyone know what could have caused this. The installer said there is only one way off and on for the steering column.
