RE: Seats
This is a problem that someone posted within another forum about what happened to their leather seats when they got hot -- "
So I am sitting at a red light the other day and I look over at my passenger side seat. On the upper part of my seat about 6 inch's down from the head rest the leather is "bubbling" almost looks like it has zits....never seen anything like it...
I bet I am going to have to really push the dealer to get anything done...

RE: Seats
I noticed that post, and all the request for pictures that followed [8D]
I'm hoping that that is a random type of thing that that guy was "lucky" enough to have happen to only him.
"crosses fingers"
Thanks for the post though

Bird sh*t is a lot easier to clean off of leather then cloth.

Seriously, leather requires more care, but if maintained adds a better resell value to the car, and you have more color chioces available with the leather. It does have the drawback of being hot/cold as the weather changes.
Cloth can be made "spillproof" and is easier to maintain, but is not as attractive, and would not be a selling point when you go to trade in the car.
I have the cloth seats in my car and am very happy with it, but then again I tend to keep my cars a long time (10+ years on average).
