You dont need to be a bad guy or do something wrong to upset people, some people is just pissed since theywalk out of their beds every day (aka cronic loosers),I've seem hummers and SUV's vandalized just because some people think of themselves as "green" and blame the global warming and whatnot on anyone who doesnt drive a beaten up honda or toyota that burn as much oil as it does fuel, and the only thing they have green is the bean they have for brain, and then there are those whoget upset just because your car makes more noise than the average.
While I try not tomake a lot of noiseor drive hard anywhere near my neighborhood, I do have locks on my hood and gas cap.

Definately get a locking gas cap. My parents told me to get one as soon as I got the car. They were surprised that it didn't come with one.

I'm guessing they prob just threw some water or a water based beverage inthere from a bottle and the water settled to the bottom of the tank overnight.

Well,if your gauge went from 15 miles to 55 miles wouldn't that come out to 2gallons of whatever was dumped into it,(est. 17mpg)?Seems you would notice a big diffrence in the engine if it was somthing bad!But just curious,on both readings was the car completly level?

car was completely level, and not moved or started or anything between readings, temp outside was almost exactly the same as well.
