Why do you have to be compensating for anything? Why cant you just get the car because you want it and enjoy mustangs?

My wife used to say she thought men bought hot rods to "compensate for their small piddler"...that is - until she met me.

That is kind of a smart *** kinda comment to make...unless he's a good friend, than he's just bustin your *****, but if it came from more of a stranger...my reply would be: " Ohh, cause I have a small *****, wanna see it? That's is what ya wanted to hear right.... Ya know, by the way, jealousy and envy doesn't look good on you.."

Somethin along those lines....

Some people just don't get it, do they......... No need to compensate for anything- just the desire to drive a high performance, American-made musclecar with a 40+ year heritage.

I'm compensating for the complete and devastating loss of independence and personal time that comes with 2 kids, a wife, a house, and a busy career. 99% of the time I am a husband, father, homeowner, optometrist, neighbor, friend. Everybody in this situation needs one thing all their own to maintain their identity. When I'm driving, washing, or moddingmy Mustang, I'm just Rich. It makes all the difference.
