and you got the V6 because...?
...The car came as is...and V8 would have been about 10 grand more...Not to mention, I'm a family man, and while this may not be a family car, the last thing I need is a V8.
And Arwing, I suppose thats one of the reasons I joined this forum...I didn't know that. Thanks
yeah dude. like if you get a supercharger and you blow your motor. they wont fix the motor, because an after market product caused it to fail. but if anything else on the car goes bad, like the window stops working, radio breaks etc. they have to fix that.

10 grand more for a GT??? You must have stolen this one because with the wheels, body kit, paint and hood it would go for alot more than just the cost of the V6??

29k might bea lot for a V6 mustang, but I dont think its a lot for that V6. I think it looks awsome.
If it will fit you might want to look at getting some after market mufflers with bigger end pipes. I think
It will make that back look tougher.

Anyway, nice stang!

Car looks great, 29g with all those mods is decent, I bet that flame job would cost $2-3K at a reputable paint shop and another $4K for rims & body kit. A lot of people would rather buy all the mods they like already finished then have down time everytime something gets done to their car.
Btw killer flames! Me likes a lot! Enjoy!

yea i don't know what you guys are talking about here...that kit painted alone costs a few grand, those flames are painted on it looks like, everything installed, rims...if it's loaded it would already cost 22k...not a bad deal really. A gt starts at 27k with no haggling doesn't it? If a dealer had that stuff installed stock on a gt it'd be around 40k like he said.

Im not saying he didnt get a good deal or anything. I assumed it would cost 27+.....I just would not pay that kind of money for a V6. For me I wouldnt want the kit or paint but would want the HP.

I wasnt really looking for alot of horsepower...I love the style and look of the mustang and I was SO glad when retro came back. I'll be quite happy with the style mine has, a few aftermarket hp boosts, and a good stereo system. Thanks for all the criticism and ideas...Thats why i joined the community.
