Well here i am just cruising along when all of a sudden this little red light i had never seen comes on....I'm like WTF!!.....No noises no thing just a lil engine light. So i baby my car home plug in my SCT and it gives me the code P2198 no info available........but after looking it up here's what it is

***P2198 02 Sensor Signal Stuck Rich (Bank 2 Sensor 1)***

HELP!!!!!! what the heck does that mean???????

O2 sensor CEL's can come from a wide array of things, from a bad O2 sensor to a dirty MAF. Is it running weird?

 

I have an idea and it might be your maf sensor in you intake. If you have a CAI and have recently cleaned it you may have clogged the sensor. Go to any store and pick up o2 sensor cleaner and spray it on and clean it. Should do wonders if that is the problem. Or maybe one of your o2 sensor on your exhaust came unplugged. so there is a couple of ideas

 

Or maybe if the filter was recently cleaned, not enough oil was put back on it? Or it wasn't put on evenly andcompletely over thefilter.

 

it has been running a little different......On one start up it was kinda wierd the idle seem to search for a second then it came down to normal. then 2 days later POOF the CEL came on.

I'm taking it to my tuner today to see what he says!

On second thought, I like billyjos answer. In my scenario, you'd be running lean, not rich.

 

Well i talked to my tuner and hooked up my sct to his laptop tuner stuff and it said my A/F was fine......It might have just been a temp thing at start-up.......we cleared the code and it hasnt come back...YET!! But if it does he said he would check the entire tune to make sure everything else is good and then if need be re-tune it for free. We'll see in the nest few days............I'll keep you posted!
