RE: Dash Board SquEEEEEEK?
I have an intermittant squeeeeeek around the passenger side dash (by the glove box near as I can figure), another in the driver side A pillar as well as the driver side door.
Oddly enough, the guys at the dealer never seem to be able to hear any of them.
Ah well, I just turn up the stereo or downshift when it gets annoying.
If you have insulation poking outta the dash at the windshield that should be a warranty fix, I'd think.

RE: Dash Board SquEEEEEEK?
I have this same problem and it has been mentioned on here several times before. I don't have the link but someone posted a method to fixing this problem and I used this method but couldn't locate the area under the dash that they metioned the noise comeing from. The method involves removing the A-pillar cover which runs fromthe winsheild to above the door window back to about where the seat belt is. This cover basically is held on with two hooks toward the winsheild and 3 snaps above the door. Once you remove this you can use a flash light to see underneath the dash. I took a long screwdriver and rolled a slightly thickened amount of black Nylon Tulle around it the I stuck that under the dash through the opening to the point where I thought the squeak was coming from and then I picked up on the dash and wedged this material into it futher then used the dash to grab the materal. I used this material because its black and waterproof just in case. Be carefull on the passenger side because there are alot of wires that you could damage. I don't know for sure that this targeted the exact area of the squeak but I do know that it tighted the dash up. Also you can stick some up under the dash by going under the dash where it meets the winshield. After I did this I road around on the same roads where the dash usually squeaks and I couldn't make it squeak no matter how hard I tried so far now I think I have fixed this problem. I would normally say just take it to the dealer but I have done that 3 times and they never fixed it.

RE: Dash Board SquEEEEEEK?
I wouldn't call it a "squeak... maybe a "creak"...
And yes, it mainly happens when it's cold and isn't readily reproducible for the service techs to check it out!
In tomorrow for oil change and I'll ask if I can leave it for any TSB's
