Default Data Logging?

Could someone please help me with a few questions I have about the SCT. OK, what exactly is data logging, how do you do it, and what is it for? (I have brenspeed tunes) Also I have installed JBA headers and now I am getting a CEL which reads 2197. Brent said this is due to a manufacture defect in the 02 placement.Anyone else having this problem with their JBA's?

Default RE: Data Logging?

Data logging is when you record the functions of your engine fora duration to use that information to make appropriate tuning adjustments. I am currently learning more about it but would not do any of my own timing/mass air/fuel/spark adjustments at present. These things are best left for someone who know's what they are doing. At this point I don't have that kind of confidence in myself. So I rely on a tuner. Someday I hope to learn enough to make those types of adjustments. But for nowI will be staying with folks who have the knowledge and ezperience.
