Default Time to Mod!

Ok... I'm looking at putting 2k worth of goodies into my baby. I already have a CAI, tune, and Steeda shifter. I want nothing but performance parts, ie. no sound system, rims, etc. I'm pretty sure I'm going with 4.10s. What would you guys recommend? My initial thought is to go with an underdrive pulley, one piece driveshaft, and lower and upper control arms. I want more power, but I also want my car to handle better. (By the way, I have a vert). I was thinking that maybe I would go with headers, but that would probably blow my entire budget. What would you guys recommend for a combination of power and handling?

Regardless what you do, you have to get the power to the ground. I'd go with gears, DS, LCAs and UCA (one or the other adjustable). Are you taking labor costs into consideration or are you doing it yourself? You may be able to squeeze in UDPs if doing it yourself even having the gears installed for you. Not something I could personnaly do.

What else would you do to the suspension besides the LCAs and UCAs?

Well, you mentioned power, but didn't mention how it's going to be applied, i.e., strip, auto x, road course, street, combination, etc. You should really decide some goals for your car, if you haven't done so, and then go from there. Otherwise you're going to be spending money needlessly. Let us know how you plan to use your car so we can help point you in the right direction.

Scramblr, I really only plan on driving the car on the street. But I'd like to be able to hit the corners with less body roll and take down a vette or two from a light.

Heres my 2 cents suspension,DS, and your gears. Probably will exceed budget a little but seriously are u going to stop there and youre going to want some tires for that.

get an exhaust, it will make the car alot more fun to drive... then full suspension (shocks/springs, lca, uca, sways) then 4.10s... your car will be really fun
