I had a pro do mine. He does truck and car wraps and other graphics on vehicles. He is a full time professional with his own shop. He did a great job.

 

No stripes either, I was in the same boat as you... But in the end I like that cleaner look.... for me of course

 

For me it depends on what color the car is. I love the stripes on white, black, yellow, and jade green. However, my gt is windveil and I don't like stripes on that color. In m/o black stripes clash, white stripes are too girly and silver stripes are also too sissy. just my .02c

 

I did my own. I'm happy with them. I did have a minor problem on one side, but Baltimore Street Mods worked with me, and I was able to come up with a solution. Professionals are more expensive but will give you peace of mind, but it's not that hard to do it yourself. And if you don't get the best pro, then you'll get a mediocre looking job. I saw a Shelby a couple of weeks ago that had crappy looking stripes. They weren't even straight.

I like the looks of stripes over only the hood, top, and trunk. Not extending down the entire front or entire back. Also, nothing on the sides.

This gives a nice stock strong but clean look.

 

i think stripes look pretty bad *** on the new mustangs, not on the sides but down the middle from bumper 2 bumper

Put them on. I live in Palm Springs and no one here has stripes. I put on 12' gunmetal and I love the look.
