What do you think about adding Vinyl stripes to your car? I have 10 inch stripes with 1/4 inch pins for the front, hood, tailgate and rear bumper. Will this bring down the value or should I just put the things on and forget about it?

 

Install them, they do make the car look so much better IMO.
I had my Boss stripes installed. They are vinyl and they look great IMO. Down the road I will get the same stripes but painted on. I didn't want to invest 2-3K if I didn't like the look.

 

Its hard to predict what effect it would have on future resale but they can be removed at a later time without ill effect.

Stripes, generally speaking = Very ricey

Stripes on powerhouse cars = Insane.

Do it.

And I really don't think it affects resale. Many mustangs come with stripes don't they?? No one will really care to say later on that its not worth as much with stripes, since its common for a stock mustang.

 

if you guys are getting stripes are you putting them on the side rocker as well? i have a firered GT I am getting white stripes not sure if i should get 10 or 12 but I dont know if I should get the side rocker. what do you all think?

 

I don't like them on the sides, I am going to stick with the 10" racing stripes.
