first it drops some weight from the front end, i have the LFP sway bar removal kit, takes out the radiator support bracket and sway bar, endlinks about 25lbs shaved off. Also it will help on raising the nose when you launch the car to transfer the weight to the rear tires. When you take it off, you will notice a difference on curves but once you get use to it and i can't tell a difference now.

Would this be good only for the racing 1/4 mile?? That CAN'T be good for handling in curves?

+1 I haven't noticed any adverse affects in day to day driving. I don't autocross and frequent the 1/4 strip so this was a great mod for me.

BMR is a good brand. You can buy them from www.bmrfabrication.com or brenspeed.com (not listed on the site but you can order from them).

Shave the weight in the front to help shave tenths off your time slips!

Can't you just unbolt one side while you're at the track and bolt it back up when you leave? Or dod you need to remove the entire bar?
