Shaker Question???
Does the shaker even suck air through it or is it just a vent from the outside...because when the car isnt moving how will air ever circulate through it? Does the force of the intake (although not sealed) suck it through?

RE: Shaker Question???
yes the force of the intake sucks it through.... there was a video on youtube (idk if it is there anymore) but they did a test and put a piece of paper up to it and it was deff. sucking in more air!!

RE: Shaker Question???
Here's the real deal..
The Shaker system does suck some air in when the car isn't moving, but it must have the factory airbox in place. As in my case with a K&N CAI, I have the ducting connected to the heatshield. Obviously not even close to a being aclosed enclosure, it doesn't suck any air thru the scoop at all.
Here's a video clip from my buddy's 06 Vert showing air being pulled into the scoop (he has the OEM airbox).

There is a turbo kit that will be sold at Galpin Auto Sports that allows you to keep the shaker intact and still use it with the turbo... I forget who the maker is.... it is all new as of Apr...
