Default Advice

I work at the ford dealer, my buddy recently ordered an 07 gt coupefully loaded it came off the truck today. heres the upset, he special ordered it without a wing, wut do u no it came in with a wing, not a big deal. Shortly after we relized that the roof has 2 nice size dings about the size off a doller coin, it gets better the dings are down to the paint the clearcoat n black is gone it looks terrible. Wut happend was fleet car the company that picks the cars up from jersey n brings them out to long island, well the driver put the car in the wrong spot n the chains or wutever they use to hold the cars down F-ed the roof up swinging n bangin around on the roof of his car

Wut should he do
let me no wut u think
excuse my spelling on poll can only put so many letters
n yes i do work on them, picture it when u drop ur car off at the dealer (if u do use dealer)im thedick beating the snot out of ur car. LOL [sm=shootshoot.gif] i dont do that but thats a stupid ? warlock

I wouldn't except the car. Tell them to order another but an 08. That's the whole reason of a new car is the nice factory paint. I'd lose it.

I would not accept the car, no way. Possibly try locating the car he wants from another dealer?

Refuse the car and order another. Or play the dealer game and see what they will give to make it up to him.

....or....have the dealer fix and have "in-writing" that if the paint peels off or something happends with that same spot in...lets say...1 yrs or so...that the dealer with fix at not cost to you....and provide a loaner....

Of course, it would all depend on the relationship you had with the dealer...if they are a bunch of knuckleheads forget it....if they are reasonable, negotiate something to your advantage. They have the car on the lot and you as the customer. Most dealer will not want to re-start the whole process again....just my 2 cents....
