SO.....I had decided that I wasn't really going to start modding the new Stang, since it's really a car for me to drive back and forth to work everyday, at 55 miles EACH way. The car is an 07 that I just picked up in January, and ALREADY has 9000 miles on it! Well, this place drives me crazy! Every day I read new posts about people that are loving all the new things they've done to thier cars. NOW it's got to me, I've ordered the Hurst shifter (although it's been backordered since 3/30) and then just yesterday I placed an order with Brenspeed for a tuner, cai, and corsa axleback mufflers....$1500 in the last month alone.

ANYTHING ELSE I need to do while I'm at it?

mine is a daily driver to, the mods are never ending, suspension is sumthin im real serious about cause if u cant hook up n get the horsepower to the ground then wuts the point off doing all the mods to just be spinin n slidin all over the place. lower control arms, upper control arm, lowering springs, panhard bar.
IMO thats what i would do since u got the tuner n CAI, n shifter, do a lil suspension work then move on to the mods that will boost hp

I had an 02 T/A that I spent way too much $ on, trying to be happy with it. Well I never was and sold it. Got this and said I wasn't going to do anything to it, but it's already got a few things. I really doubt it will see much more though as I'm running low on the extra funds[]

let's see, so far after 3 months:
tint
painted mirror covers
MGW interior pieces
Legend chin spoiler
new wheels
flowmaster a/b
o/r h-pipe

That's the fun thing about Mustangs. There's so much to have fun with. Since it is a daily driver you might want to concider exterior mods. (wheels, stripes etc.) Of course there are the people that what it to be the fastest and the people that want it to be the nicest looking. Me I'm the latter. Gas is $3.25/gal and I don't want it to suck more. Just went for a nice country road cruise and averaged 24mpg so I'm happy with that. But of course it's up to you, as long as your happy, that's all that matters.

Oh no.

This forum is much worse than a high maintenance date.

It's more like having a stripper for a girlfriend. How much for the implants? What's wrong with your cheekbones? Laser your what?!?
