Downhill + Neutral = Idling the car at 80mph

 

I seriously hope the passenger leaned over take that picture when you were going down the mountain... or you could have had an extremly quick descent at 9.8 meters per second off the cliff!

 

I just want to know how your car shows the milage, trip and MPG???

No, it was on a straight area when I took it. Easier to do with a digital camera with its big monitor.

And no, I don't put my car in neutral. That's dangerous and there are plenty of warnings against it in your manual.

I'm still not sure the hydrogen car will go over well because of the water coming out of the tailpipe. If you've ever been on the road behind someone who has water coming out of their exhaust (from the catalytic) getting all over your clean car, imagine what it'll be like with more cars doing that! They better figure out a way to contain that (drinkable?)water.

haha I think everyone here was watching future car on discovery The Tesla did look swet though Would hate to replace that battery however when it goes bad and you know it will. How long does a laptop battery last 2 years

 

why is it that bad to be in neutral at 80 mph? if the engine isnt connected, whats the difference in idling at 0 or 80 to the engine?

 

You have to go into the setup and change it from one line display to two, badabing badaboom.
