I'm looking to buy a new Mustang fairly soon, and I was wondering how much I should be paying? For example, I found a GT that looks pretty good. MSRP is $27,910. How much should I be able to get them down before taxes, tags, etc.? I've seen places where I can request an x-plan pin. How much does that take off? I wish there were more base model GT's around; all I want is a manual transmission and a low price. I don't need all these frills that drive up the price. I would rather get a GT, but I feel that I might have to settle for a V6. I just don't think I can afford to pay the monumental price difference.

I got mine for $23,500. brand new 2007 gt .. Dont pay more than 25,000.

 

Whoa! Where'd you get it from? I see that you're in VA, I'm in MD, so that isn't too much of a haul if need be. Was yours pretty much a base model, or was it well optioned?

I got it from Koons in Falls church..I got a 07 gt w/ gt appererance package with comes with hood scoop n chrome exhaust tips..17 inch bright machined cast aluminum wheels.All black interrior,cloth seats w/ ponys on them!..Manual.. You can easily get one for 24500..You just gotta bargain and play with their heads.
