Lever on back of seat to fold seat forward?
Does anyone other than me have a problem with these braking? We use the back seat every day and I broke the first one-passenger side about 2 days afterI got the car and this weekend, the other one broke. It is under warranty, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a sturdier or harder set to put on so they don't keep braking?! Thanks. I just wanted to tell you all that I really enjoy being a part of this forum. I can find almost any subject that I want to read or find out about my car. You people signify what a forum should be, helping each other when it is neededand offering opinions when you are asked. Even when you don't know and your opinions aren't wanted, I always seem to get a good laugh off your posts.Great work to the people who keep this site up and running for the rest of us!

We have broken off both sides as well, with the kids getting in and out. We just use the lever at the bottom of the seat on the side now. If they would install something more sturdy than what we have, I would be interested in getting them fixed too.

Mine are broken as well. I talked to my local dealer and all they could order is the whole backseat realease kit. I have been calling around on the junk yards, but no such luck yet. If someone knows where to get just the *****, please let us know.

Ham-fisted owners? I use mine on a weekly basis(to clean the back seat area), but I haven't had any issues with either the '05 I had, or the '06 I have now......
Is it the lever falling off? Or the entire assembly breaking from inside the seat? Maybe I should pull my levers off and epoxy them to the shaft.......
