hey all,got back to England today and during my trip i covered 1500 miles of Florida and didn't see a single '05 V8 on the road! managed to get a test drive in a V6 which was cool but the V6 is seriously underpowered,I did get a good look around a V8 but it was a sold car and so no test drive unfortunately,I did however get hold of some test results from the salesman,these are taken from 'Car and Driver' magazine,
'05 Mustang GT V8 with 5-speed auto box test results;

0-60 = 5.1 secs
0-100 = 13.7
1/4 mile 13.6
with standard gearing top speed estimated at over 160mph but Ford have limited them to 143mph

I'm coming back in the new year to test drive a V8

 

13.6 huh? not what ive heard
