Default Throttle lag

Hi Guys.
Just wondering about the GTthrottle lag I'm reading about on some threads. I have noticed that there exsists a small no-mans-land in the throttle travel, is this what you're referring to?
Is that easily tuned out?
Thanks
Marcus

SCT X-cal 2 w/ CAI = less throttle lag and more HP. You can't go wrong going that route!! Good luck

are you talking about when u press the pedal in.. it feels like only maybe like 1/3 of the dpression of the pedal acutally does anythign.. and the rest feels like its not doing anything?...

i recently starting noticing this and was thinking about asking ford.. but if a tuner takes care of it.. then thats just one more reason i need to buy one

The first time you hit the gas after installing CAI+Tune, you hear the engine roar, smell smoke from your tires, and then launch.

Actually I already have that mod so perhaps I need to take out a stock GT from Ford for a test run to get a better idea of the improvement I already have... I bought the car with the mod already done you see.

No you appear to have the FRPP or a CAI and tune. Not the same as a Brenspeed or B ama combo!

Marcus,

Send a PM to GTNewbie... he'll be happy to tell you about the FRPP pack and how great the warranty is... I never heard him address the throttle lag in any of his posts...

Thanks guys. I'm a bit of a newbie with the Mustang as you can see. It is indeed the Ford CAI + Tune.
I'm in Ontario, anybody know of a good tuner hereabouts? (Barrie)
Thanks
Marcus

Trying to contact the shop at which the CAI was installed to get some info. Just checked the receipts which came with the car and see the tune was by SCT...
