dose the tb spacer really ad hp? and if so how much?

The intake manifold on these cars was computer designed. If there was any power or mileage to be had by changing the shape of the intake that tinylittle bit you can bet your ***** that Ford would have done so from the factory to improve the specs on the car as well as their CAFE numbers.

TB spacers were popularized years ago on other cars (where they did work in many cases) but now they have become a really popular "me too" product you can buy for every car...wether you need one or not! (just like strut tower bars).

You can get the same performance out of your car by giving me the $100 you would spend on a TB spacer, and I will do absolutely nothing to your car, but my wallet will be thicker!

Heres what I am told by the CAI manufactures I deal with through work. When a company makes a CAI they test it in various forms, with and without throttle body spacers...if the final CAI kit doesnt come with a throttle body spacer, then it doesnt show any extra gains from it. Your just adding material for no reason at all.

In older cars with carburetors, maybe. In our cars, no.
