My friend has a evo VIII and he says he wants to race and that he hasnt modded anything on it so it's pretty much stock but with different wheels and tires. I have a 07 gt 5-speed with the 3.31 gears in the rear and havent done any performance mods yet besides magnaflow cat-back. JBA long tube's and their h-pipe are soon to come, perhaps in the next month or so. What besides that will make it sure for me to win? Lol besides good driving?

I took one out by a half car when I just had my intake and tune, but really just a drivers race stock for stock.

If you want to beat him order a C&L Racer CAI w/ an X-Cal II, the longtubes and h-pipe will give you good addition to the intake and I would definately drop some 4.10's in there. UDP's are another cheap option for only $200 shipped. That investment right htere will have you eating them all day and all night, kind of got carried away there.

Anyways those things will do if for sure and give him a beating.

I beat one when I just had the exhaust in. But my car has the 3.55 which might make a little difference compared to 3.31

The 8's you could take with minor bolt ons....the 9's....those are a different story. 13.0's totally stock[&:]

I beat an evo 9 by 2 1/2 cars at the best.. Until he got his launch down and then he consistantly beat me by 1 to 1 1/2 cars.. Ive got 3.55 gears and straight pipes..
