Default How Do You Remove Dealer Stick-on Decals?

Hi, How do you remove the dealer stick-on vinyl decals? I'm sick of the service dept. attitude and they don't deserve my car for advertisment. Thanks.

Use a blow dryer to heat it up and then peel carefully.

Oh, and if possible use a bit of detailer with a clean microfiber cloth before you do it in case any dust or crud that's wedged at the sticker's edges can be removed.

I just avoid the problem and refuse to take delivery of a car that has them on!!! It is an easy preventative measure...

Ask them if they are going to pay you for advertising.

As stated, heat it up, peel it off. Any residue left behind use carnuba liquid cleaner wax to remove it. Comes right off. Done this for two new cars and one that was a year old in the last month.

It's a sticker. Peel it off. If it does'nt come right off, use a blow dryer.

Remove it asap! I hate that crap. WD 40 makes a great adhesive softener. A heat gun or blow dryer will allow the sticker to be removed. Then wd40 will remove the glue. Then rewax the paint.

I took mine off before I left the Stealership, loved the look on the salesman's face

Only a few dealerships around here use stickers. Some are starting to use badges.

By the way, anyone having trouble posting with FireFox?
