if your talking acura rsx they discontinued them, i think w/the '06 model year.

i get 24 mpg highway with my 06 gt 5-spd at 70mph. but it's soooo hard to go just 70....

that's figuring it outon a calculatorat fillings.

Well I didnt necessarily need a car with good gas mileage, just something better than a v8 Mustang, and a Ford, LOL. I said something to my Wife about getting a v6 with a 5spd and she laughed and said, "no, I dont think so, if we trade in the 01 than were either getting an 06 or 07 GT, 350Z, or a Cobra, LOL. I love my Wife, shes always thinking about me when it comes to cars, LOL. She also said maybe a new RSX-S, which wouldnt be bad.

I cant quote V6 numbers but I average about 22.5 MPG combined each week. On the highway at 75 MPH ,I am getting about 28 MPG in my V8

She sounds like a keeper! My wife said she wants me to add some power to her 4.0L/auto vert, so I may be adding a CAI and tunes at her request (gosh I love her!)

Talking good wives, mine let me stay home 14 years ago to be Mr. Mom. Course, she drives the GT everyday, but she lets me play on the weekends.

Wow you guys must really stomp on your GT's. I'm getting 18.5mpg in all city driving. I sit in traffic the whole way to and from work. I haven't had the chance to drive a v6 so I don't know what people are actually getting as far as mpg in them. one of the deciding factors for me to buy the GT was its gas milage over other cars I was looking at. Even the wrx gets worse milage then the GT and it requires premium.
I sit in bumper to bumper traffic on back roads moving a few inches at a time for most of my 6 mile commute. I don't even have a place I can romp it that much!! Occasionally I romp it turning out of my work onto the road for a few blocks but still.

I agree with the duals on the Fusion bit. Anyway just back from stop & go w/hillsand 25mpg. This is with the JBA axleback. Before the same driving was 21/22. So one thing is for sure the axleback freed up some ponies & mpg.

Jay do you have single or dual exhaust? I want duals and I have been searching around for different options. Helping the MPG will be the icing on the cake.

I can tell you this much, I get no where near 30, and have no mods. Drive 90% highway, ~70mph.. I get like 22. I've seen V6 mpg reporting all over the charts.
My friend has a V6 drives highway most the time and gets the same as u

i've had both...an 07 GT and an 05 V6....well the 07 GT just got turned into a 03 cobra but that's besides the point. The gas mileage to me was noticably different. If you have the GT with a stick, you just can't help yourself to play with it. I also have a V6 with minor mods and it is fairly quick! I love the v6. I'm actually keeping it and gonna make it faster than the cobra one day
Love my V6!

Drove a 400+HP 429 Torino for 15 years.

This little V6 is a lot more fun to drive!!

Add a set of duals, T-LOC and have a blast!

I also got +2MPG going to full duals. 32+MPG when takin' it easy ~65-75.
