07 gt vs 04 cobra

RE: 07 gt vs 04 cobra
If your a really good driver, probably just a CAI, tune, catback or axleback exhaust, midpipe and 4.10's. I've seen people running in the 12's with just a CAI and tune with some DR's, so anythings possible. And where did you find a Terminator that was stock? Those things, just like fox bodies are hard to come by stock.

Nitrous, a s/c, or a turbo. No way you are going to beat these with just bolt ons. Dont forget they are 4-valve motors, not just a 2V with a s/c thrown on them. Even without the s/c they would get us by a few lengths stock for stock, add that in and we have some work to do.

A stock Cobra can run anywhere from a 12.5-12.9 (depends on who you ask and who you talk to ) with full bolt on's with 4.30's, D/R, its possible to get a 3V N/A in mid to high 12's. I have seen full bolt on with 4.30's run 12.7 at the track, so it could be possible without F/I to win, though more than likely you might as well go with F/I. Of course if the Cobra Driver can't drive for crap it could go the Full Bolt on, gears D/R S197 for the win.
But most 03/04 Cobra have a pully swap and tune at the very least, at that point, the Cobra assuming the driver can drive would walk any bolt on S197.
Just get the Turbo,S/C or N20. But even at that if that Cobra is modded your in trouble!
