Sorry Jaded, you're wrong on this one.

The GT and V6have the same skirts! The only difference is that the GT skirts are painted and the V6 skirts are not.

I have both skirts in my garage right now, and I just compared them again. The GT and V6 skirts are the same. Same mounting points too.

Shipping would be essentially the same, because the cost is mainly for the oversized package, rather than weight. I'll check if you really want the skirt, but it's a difference of like 5 pounds.Paying $29 shipping for a free skirt is not bad at all, I'm just trying to help you out.Because when I ordered my GTtake-off skirts from v6mustangstuff.com, they charged me $49 just for shipping!

To make these work on your GT, you'd have to sand them smooth, and then paint. And you'll have to use your mounting hardware, because I needed mine for the GT skirts.

If they aren't the same, why have so many people successfully put GT take offs on the V6? They are the same.

hmmm ok

hmmmm ok?? Is that a sarcastic response?

207 people viewed this thread, and I'm the only one that's offered to help you. I'm offering you a FREE SKIRT so, the typical response would be, "Hey.. thanks, man.. that really helps me out!"

I've swapped my V6 skirts for GT skirts, so OBVIOUSLY I'VE TOUCHED, SEEN, FELT, INSTALLED BOTH SKIRTS, and you're gonna look at one comment from a guy who said they weren't the same and believe it?

Shoot man.. forget it. I was just trying to help you out, but I never thought it would be so difficult to unload FREE merchandise.

Good luck finding some free skirts.

Because the GT skirts are take-off parts and already painted.
