I removed the stock spoiler and installed a painted Roush spoiler in my driveway... the hardest part was getting up the nerve to drill the holes! The template was very easy to use, justtaped it on thetrunk.Thepics show the template, and the finished result... take your time, measure twice, drill once... :-)

RE: installing Roush spoiler, how hard is it?
June 4 2007 installed Roush wing on my 2005 GT convertible Legend Lime wing from Roush. Color matched perfectly. No blemishes at all. You have to drill two additional holes on the deck and four on each side. You must use two of the bolts and nuts from the old wing for the deck. These holes at the outer edge of the deck go thru three pieces of metal. You might miss installing these if you didn't pull the masking tape off to protect the screw holes on the wing when it is painted. Be very care tightening down. I judged how long it should be and preset nut and tightened shaft snug and then a little more. You have to pre drill all holes with 1/8" and the follow up with 5/16" Scrape all burrs off and route them out. I used course sand paper inside fender. If you leave one burr or drilling material anywhere on the paint and it gets wet you have instant rust thru paint. I used rustoleum primer a little brush painted all holes then with touch up paint and finally clear coat. After installing wing I put silicon around all nuts in fender well by touch. All templates were perfect and wing installed beautifully. Hardest part getting wing off and doubled sided tape off trunk lid. Found hands best method going up and down creating heat and it rolls off. I also used WD 40 at the beginning and at the end. Cleaned up lid perfectly. I had to use a 6" serrated kitchen knife to cut off double sided tape. Kept the knife on the spoiler side of the tape. Bought center tap at HD and hit slightly with hammer. This wing has more vision then original and is about 8 LBS heavier. Looks......none better
