I believe, and im no expert, the advantage of pullies are to operate the things like your air conditioning and alternator at higher speeds and so more focused energycan go to the engine, adds like 5-10hp if your lucky. I have the Steeda underdrive pullies costs about 200 and takes about an hours work. thats my 2 cents, thought id respond, i hate when i post something and never get replies

A smaller lighter pulley doesn't give you HP but helps to free up some that you already have... I have the Roush Pulley's

i've also read that the pullies will give you more power if you're lucky. some don't give you power at all. kinda sucks.

Closer to the 5 hp than the 10 hp. I have installed them in the past on other 'Stangs, I'm going to leave my stockers on my '06. Not worth it.

But when you change the pullys with a S/Cer you can get a lot more hp. right?
