You can get the Gentex from www.autoanything.com for around 200. I couldn't find a good spot under the hood for the sensor though, mine always read about 10 degrees higher than it really was.(once the engine was warm)

Geesh! Don't they make one that displays your daily horoscope as well? Temp and compass.....You are going for a ride not circumnavigating the north pole.

Can you give me any more details on what you purchased and from whom? Was the install relatively easy? That's a far more reasonable price, and I'd like to try to get one for myself as well.

I mounted the temp sensor in thehole in thebumper cover...seems to be dead on.

Do you have a pic of where the temp sensor is mounted in the bumper. I am not sure which hole you are talking about.
